Privacy Policy — Inventario Equipamos

Inventario Equipamos ("the App") is a private inventory management application operated by Equipamos LLC ("we", "us") for its own internal business use. It is not offered to the public and has no customer accounts.

What the App does with QuickBooks

When an authorized administrator connects the App to our own QuickBooks Online company, the App can:

• read the products and services (items) of that company, and
• update the description and sales price of items that already exist, to match our internal inventory records.

The App does not read or change customers, vendors, invoices, payments, bank data, payroll, tax data, item costs or item quantities.

Information we store

• The QuickBooks company ID and the OAuth access and refresh tokens that QuickBooks issues to the App.
• A log of the changes the App made to QuickBooks items (date, item, previous value, new value).

This information is stored in a database on a server owned and controlled by Equipamos LLC. It is not stored with third parties.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share this information with anyone. The App only communicates with Intuit's QuickBooks Online API and with no other third-party service.

Security

The App runs on a private network and is reachable only by authorized employees over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only administrators can connect, use, or disconnect the QuickBooks integration.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept while the connection is active. An administrator can disconnect the App at any time from inside the App, which deletes the stored tokens. The connection can also be revoked from the QuickBooks Online account settings. The change log can be deleted on request.
